International Conference ‘Legal Perspectives on the Internet’. COPEJI 7.0. E (private & professional)-life boosted by AI and fueled by data. Are we prepared?

The various ‘e’s—e-business, e-commerce, e-management, e-advertising, e-government, and so on—are putting new AI systems into place that lead to improvements in every industry they operate in. However, AI requires vast amounts of data to function: non-personal data, personal data, mixt data. Everybody knows that data is currently the most valuable resource. The data sector is a multibillion-dollar/euro industry. Controlling the data means controlling AI. Who has the control?  What dangers does AI put us in? Are we prepared to accept the dangers at all? Do the benefits exceed the potential prejudices?

In this 7th edition of the conference, we invite you to find together answers to these disturbing questions. Papers are welcome that deal with circumscribed topics. The conference is aimed at academics, PhD students and practitioners, as well as computer scientists concerned with the legal side of their work, as an opportunity to debate and identify ideas for resolving the complicated interdisciplinary connections caused by using AI and all related fields. The organizing committee invites the participants to an oral presentation of the works that are limited to the topic.
